Cladding & protective sheets / Product information
Our PVC cladding range includes two hygienic sheet options: Solid PVC in a satin finish and Foam PVC in a gloss finish.
Designed for internal environments where hygiene is a priority, these sheets are resistant to moisture and chemicals and do not absorb microbial contaminants. This makes them ideal for healthcare facilities, food preparation areas, clean rooms, washrooms, changing rooms and agricultural buildings. Our hygienic PVC sheets are also available in over 20 colour options, providing greater design flexibility without compromising performance. For applications where hygiene is less critical, our Foam PVC General Cladding Sheet in a matt finish offers a cost-effective solution. Lightweight, easy to install and simple to maintain, it is ideal for wall and ceiling cladding in commercial storerooms, offices and other general-purpose areas.

The Ariel PVC Cladding range includes versatile solid and foam PVC sheets with a high strength-to-weight ratio. Sheets can be worked using standard tools for plastics, wood and metal.
They may be thermoformed around corners, although matching internal and external corner accessories are also available. Clean the smooth, hardwearing surface using non-abrasive cleaning agents.
Polyurethane (PU) adhesive is recommended because it can set in high-moisture conditions and provides approximately 45 minutes of working time, depending on temperature. Modified silicone (MS) adhesive may also be used. If in doubt, test a small area before installation.
A full range of cladding profiles is available to achieve the required finish. See the Accessories section for details.
Ariel PVC Cladding sheets are lightweight and easy to install over a variety of substrates. For a consistent appearance:
Use sheets from the same production batch wherever possible.
Never mix sheets from different batches on the same wall.
Install every sheet in the same orientation.
Keep printed protective film text the same way up; for unprinted film, fit the same end of every sheet at floor level.
Condition panels for at least 24 hours at a temperature similar to the destination room.
Store panels flat and off the ground to avoid condensation.
Ensure walls are smooth, level, dry, clean and free from dust or residue.
Fit windows, door frames, power points, switches and plumbing before cladding.
Do not install panels close to hot areas where the sheet could distort.
Contact our Technical Department for installation advice.
Remove the protective film after installation. Clean with an anti-static cleaner or warm soapy water and a soft cloth or anti-static wipe. Do not use glass cleaner, abrasives or squeegees.
